Approval for Crown Gardens follows rejection of identical scheme in March 2024

Woking Borough Council’s planning committee has approved Pod Architects’ Crown Gardens scheme, a 25-storey build-to-rent (BTR) development in Woking town centre.

The project, commissioned by Donard Homes, will deliver 272 homes and 550m² of retail and commercial space on a key brownfield site, contributing to the council’s ambitious housing targets.
