Discounts to return to pre-2012 levels

The government has estimated 1,700 tenants a year will still be able to buy their home through the Right to Buy under its plan to reduce discounts to pre-2012 levels.

Secondary legislation to reduce the Right to Buy discounts, pledged as part of the Autumn Budget, was laid before parliament yesterday.
