As the prime minister looks for ideas to improve growth, Ian McDermott warns about the consequences of increasingly complex regulation

I was interested over Christmas to see that the prime minister has written to UK regulators asking for ideas to boost growth.

I don’t think the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) received a letter, but I know our sector is a) fundamental to the growth agenda, and b) subject to ever-increasing and complex regulation.
