Research by Building Better and the NHF suggests the sector is maturing and grappling with the practicalities of MMC delivery, writes Trina Chakravarti
Modern methods of construction (MMC) describe the use of offsite manufacturing and construction techniques to build high quality, sustainable homes; and at Building Better, an alliance of housing associations and local authorities backed by the National Housing Federation (NHF), we’re working together to increase its use in the social housing sector.
