The real estate sector has made huge strides in sustainability in recent years, and yet, buildings remain responsible for 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions according to the World Green Building Council. Needless to say, we have a long way to go in reducing our carbon footprint.
A number of developers are starting to build in a carbon-friendly way, which is great.
