As the political parties start to focus on their pledges to the electorate, the housing sector must make the case for a long-term strategy, argues David Orr
They say that there are no certainties in politics. However, we can be pretty certain that there will be a general election in 2024. And we can be absolutely certain that there will be a lot of noise about it.
It will be a challenge to ensure housing is heard among all the other noise and to make the case so compelling that it cannot be ignored by our political parties and candidates.
