The housing association is among several organisations to announce it will no longer have a presence on the social media platform. Greg Reed explains why, and how it will ensure resident engagement won’t suffer as a result
On 9 August, we came to the decision that Places for People (PfP) – across all of our businesses - could no longer have a presence on X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter)
Honestly, it wasn’t a hard decision to make and judging by the response to this from our People, from partners and colleagues across many different business sectors, and even from customers as well, it was a view they shared and an action they supported.
