The Building Safety Bill is a step forward, but there’s much more to do to solve this crisis once and for all, argues Geeta Nanda
Anyone working in housing must have a person’s safety in their home as their number one priority. That’s why, as someone who has worked in housing for more than 30 years myself, I welcome the Building Safety Bill as a vital step forward in supporting housing providers and all those involved in constructing homes to meet this fundamental principle. However, it is by no means a complete solution to the building safety crisis we face.
