Digital transformation might not be a term quickly associated with the housebuilding and construction sectors. Many other industries have gone through a significant amount of change in this regard already, taking advantage of new digital capabilities and tools that enable more efficient and effective outcomes.
Our sector needs to get on board with this, and fast. New households are being formed in the UK faster than ever before, while housing delivery is slowing. This is leaving behind a whole generation of people who aspire to home ownership but can’t get on the ladder.
