The government is pressing ahead with plans to reform the private rented sector, but the changes will also have ramifications for housing associations, explains Helen Tucker
With the landmark Renters’ Rights Bill set to become law by Summer 2025, there are big changes ahead for housing management in both the private rented sector and for social landlords - it is vital all landlords are fully informed and prepared.
The aim of the bill is to improve security for tenants, and while some of the biggest changes will only apply to private landlords, the Bill will have significant impact on social housing too
