The latest planning application statistics published by the government make for grim reading. We’re on course to decide the fewest number of planning applications for new homes in the decade covered by the data.
The picture for planning approvals is even sorrier, with fewer than 73% of applications being approved – again, the lowest rate in more than a decade.
