Peabody is making improving skills a priority in 2024, including through its own academy, writes Elly Hoult
2024 will no doubt provide both challenges and opportunities for the housing sector and for Peabody.
There are several competing priorities for the year ahead. We have much to do as a sector to improve people’s homes and services, make homes more energy efficient and speed up retrofit programmes. At the same time, we know from London Councils’ work that 1 in 23 children in London are without a permanent home and are living in temporary places. The financial pressures and challenges of addressing all these priorities are well known.
