We must not be afraid to advocate for the benefits of new homes, argues Paul Smith
The first tranche of census results were published last week and they’ve caused a stir amongst those who oppose new housing. The census reveals that the number of households forming over the last decade is lower than the number of new homes built. Proof, claim some, that the crisis in housing supply is a con dreamt up by the greedy development industry - except it isn’t, of course.
