The UK’s chronic housing crisis has been a longstanding issue but, with the effects of the pandemic still with us, it has reached a new intensity. I have experienced first-hand the significant need to improve provision of affordable and supported housing through the work we do at HSPG. I have also witnessed the difference that having an affordable home of good quality can make to a person’s life.
