The impact of Britain’s housing crisis is known across our society. Throughout the nation, people highlight the wasted potential, stunted ambition and stagnating local economies which can, in no small part, be attributed to the crisis.
People at the sharp end of this crisis know this better than anyone. They tell us of children falling behind at school with nowhere to study at home and anxiety induced by housing insecurity, of long stays in temporary accommodation and of ever declining health and well-being as an affordable place to call home is pushed further out of reach.
